Typefield is an independent Mac app built to make the path from choosing a font to testing it in a layout shorter. It also gives you tools to draw and edit letterforms when the font you want does not exist yet.

Typefield is available for Apple silicon Macs running macOS 13 or newer.
Try it with your own fonts.
The beta is a direct download. It does not require a Typefield account or license key. Your library and projects are stored on your Mac, and you choose where to save exports.
